Nigeria Records 593 New Cases Of COVID-19 As Plateau Tops List

Plateau state topped the chat as they were 186 confirmed cases while Lagos came second 172 confirmed cases were found on Wednesday.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its report said: “As at 11:06 pm, 19th August, there were 50,488 confirmed cases in Nigeria.”

The total number of discharged patients in the country have also risen to 37,304. The country has also recorded a total of 985 deaths.
