Nigeria continues its battle against the ravaging coronavirus pandemic. The country has been battling the virus, and there seems to be no end in sight.
On Friday July 10, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control reports that the country has recorded 575 new cases of the coronavirus.
The NCDC made this update late Friday night on it’s social media platforms, as part of its daily covid-19 situation update. From the update, the country’s total has risen by 545 to 31,323 confirmed cases, with 12,795 patients discharged and total deaths increasing by 20 to 709.
Lagos state once again had the highest number of cases with 225, a figure much higher than that of the next state on the list, Oyo, which recorded 85 new confirmed cases today. The FCT reported 63 new cases, while 49 samples tested positive in Rivers state today.
Altogether, 1 states and the Federal Capital Territory recorded new cases of covid-19 today.
