The Director General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential and Gubernatorial Campaigns in Oyo state, Isiaka Kolawole, has declared that members of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the state, will vote for the presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Kolawole made this disclosure while speaking during the maiden meeting of the campaign committees held in Ibadan at the weekend.
Kolawole while addressing members of the campaign committees insisted that the APC would form the next government in the state.
He added that he has the conviction that members of PDP would vote for the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Kolawole, while speaking further, alleged that the current administration in the state is tired.
Kolawole in a statement made available to newsmen through the Director of Public Affairs of the campaigns, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, added that it is a pity that Governor Seyi Makinde of the state, has turned himself into a personal assistant to his colleague, Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
He said, “PDP in Oyo state has declared they will vote for APC in the presidential election.
“The current administration in the state is tired.
“And it is just a pity that Governor Seyi Makinde has turned himself into a personal assistant to his colleague Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State.
“And if you listen to his budget speech or visit the governor’s personal website, you will see that he alluded to that fact. We thank him for admitting that he is tired. Our candidate, Senator Teslim Folarin, is prepared for the task ahead”.
APC Chairman in the state, Mr. Isaac Omodewu, while speaking, appealed to the campaign council to ensure that the state maintains the lead.
