Afrobeats super star Davido has congratulated fast-rising star, Tems on her wins at the recently concluded BET Awards 2022.
The ceremony, which was held on Sunday, June 26 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, saw the global recognition of Afrobeats in its full glare with the massive feats accomplished by Nigerian music stars.
The budding songstress, went home with the highest award for the year ‘Best International Act’, making her the first African female to achieve such.
Tems also clinched another award, “Best Collaboration” following her contribution alongside Justin Bieber to Wizkid’s ‘Essence.’
Bizwiz on the other hand got an award for “Best Collaboration.”
Taking to his insta story, the DMW boss applauded Tems on her ‘inspirational’ wins, totally ignoring the ‘MIL’ singer.
“Anybody can inspire you. Congrats girl,” Davido wrote.
