Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola, popularly known as Naira Marley, has shown that he strongly opposes cultism and people who are cultists.
This comes after the musician has been associated with cultism for some time now with most people saying his fanbase is full of cultist.
Naira, chairman of his controversial fan base, “Marlians visited his Twitter page on Tuesday, February 2nd to express his stance against cultism.
According to the ‘Koleyewon’ crooner, he’s a marlian but strongly against cultism. “I’m a Marlian but I’m anti cultist”. He tweeted.
This is coming after Naira Marley reacted to some school children being arrested by Amotekun operatives for modelling themselves as him.
In the video that went viral, a woman supposedly a teacher at the school described the boys as criminals and also revealed that they were arrested in a bush.
In response, Naira Marley expressed a desire to meet the children and called their arrest “child abuse”. He added that teachers and security guards with guns need to be arrested
The singer wrote;
Guys look what’s happening in stupid Nigeria.
How can you arrest school kids? This is child abuse. The teachers and this stupid uncles with guns need to get arrested.
I want to meet all these kids I owe them, please help me with the name of the school or link me up with any of my Marlian Kids. Thanks. I wanna see the witch behind the camera self.
