Mourinho Reacts To Paul Pogba Performance During Tottenham Draw VS Man United

Tottenham manager Jose Mourinho was rather concerned about Jonathan Moss’ performance than the performance Paul Pogba put out for Manchester United.

Manchester United were awarded a penalty in the second half after Eric Dier fouled the Frenchman inside the penalty area.

It was an easy decision for Moss as the VAR was not called to take another look at the centre referee’s decision.

Bruno Fernandes sent Hugo Lloris the wrong way as he put Manchester United back into the game.

United had several chances to complete their comeback but poor finishing cost them all three points at Tottenham Hotspur.

A few minutes after United received a penalty, Bruno Fernandes was brought down inside the penalty area and Jonathan Moss pointed at the spot.

His decision was controversial and the VAR had to take a proper look at Moss’ decision. After a review, Moss’ penalty decision was overturned by VAR. The replays showed there was no strong contact on Fernandes.

United had a last-minute chance to command a 2-1 win at Spurs but Mason Greenwood’s right-footed strike went off target.

It was Paul Pogba’s first appearance for the Reds since his cameo against Newcastle United on December 26 and Mourinho thinks the France star successfully did what he was asked to do.
