The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped a massive three spots on the FIFA/Cocacola rankings after having back to back draws against Sierra Leone this month
In the latest Fifa global rankings for November, Nigeria have slipped to 35th position after playing 4-4 and 0-0 back-to-back draws against Sierra Leone in their 2022 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixtures.
Nigeria is now the fourth best country in Africa with Senegal retaining the no. 1 spot, followed by Tunisia and Algeria in the second and third positions, respectively.
Meanwhile Sierra Leone – who made a come back from 4-0 to 4-4 against the Super eagles in Nigeria before playimg alt=’Nigeria’s Super Eagles drop three spots on latest Fifa ranking’ class=’img-responsive text-center’ style=’margin: auto;’ a 0-0 draw in their home – are among the biggest movers on the continent as they climbed four places to 116th in the world.
Equatorial Guinea and Burundi climbed 10 spots after avoiding defeats in their Afcon qualifying games against Libya and Mauritania, respectively. They are the biggest climbers in Africa.
