The president of association of performing artiste, AAUA chapter featured on #PalitoPumpin and gave details about the activities of APA – AAUA under his leadership, personal music career and AAUA artistes journey to stardom.

My name is Adedeji Akinyemi Shine, popularly known as Mr sugar and president association of performing artiste here on campus.

How has APA been before you became the president and what is the present state of the association
APA, since I knew it and I can boldly say that since it evolvement has been the only recognised and registered association on campus.
What have been the effort of the association in bringing AAUA Artists into limelight
The association can boost of this, the association had saddled it self with the responsibility of discovering and encouraging young talent on campus and so far so good, since inception, we have been able to achieve some of it aims and objective .

Before I emerge the presidenct unopposed at the beginning of this year. The association’s had some emeritus who had govern and had been able to move the association towards a moderate standard that has made the association the only still standing music artist association.

How will you grade AAUA Artiste among their counterpart

Talking about the finest artist on campus, I mean if anyone knows the likes of @beejay_smallz, treasuretizz,moxie,sunkie piper, Doz, Sterio, maverick ,u would know what I am Talking about about when I say good music.

This guys are bunch of talent and honestly they are doing fine in the industry and some of them have their videos on YouTube, MTV, hiptv and they are gradually building their ways to stardom.

We are trying our best to make sure our members are been heard , but limelight isnt for everyone. If u will shine u will shine.

Although previous administrations had ways of doing things then but this regime I tried to introduce a new idea which I felt would be an avenue for our members to reach the heart of their fan on campus. We organised a kind of live show where student perform award winning songs the same way it was performed by its original owner.

This live show was tagged grab the mic GTM, AAUA Artiste both big and small are fire
Both old ones and new ones.
Honestly these guys are good but I must be sincere, the environment we found ourselves in the name of pursuing a degree is not encouraging, our artist despite this, Omo AAUA artist hot die, I won’t talk to much I will mention 5 songs if you download them u will know that truly AAUA artist are hot.

Mr sugar is and RNB ,afro-pop artist, hail from Ondo town in Ondo State,  a final year student of the department of History and International Studies. I am the last child of a family of 5
