Plateau Tops List As Nigeria Records 252 New Cases Of COVID-19

Nigeria record 252 new cases of the novel COVID-19 which took the total infection case in the country to 52,800, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Tuesday.

Nigeria recorded 321 cases on Tuesday, but it reduced to 252 on Wednesday. The death rate also increased from 1004 to 1007.

According to the health agency, Lagos state recorded the fourth highest number with 28 new cases compared to yesterday’s 98 numbers of cases which shows the numbers reduced massively today.

Plateau state recorded the highest number with 50 new cases as Enugu state recorded 35 new cases.

Here is the breakdown of the number of new cases of COVID-19 recorded today as stated by NCDC on their official Twitter page.
