Nigeria recorded 354 new cases of the novel COVID-19 which took the total infection case in the country to 45,244, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Thursday.
Nigeria recorded 457 cases on Wednesday, but it reduces to 354 on Thursday. The death rate also increased from 927 to 930.
According to the health agency, Lagos state recorded the second highest number with 76 new cases compared to yesterday’s 137 numbers of cases which shows the numbers reduces drastically. FCT recorded the highest number with 78 cases as Kaduna State recorded 23 new cases.
