
Nigeria recorded 457 new cases of the novel COVID-19 which took the total infection case in the country to 44,890, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Wednesday.
Nigeria recorded 304 cases on Tuesday, but it increased to 457 on Wednesday. The death rate also increased from 910 to 927.
According to the health agency, Lagos state recorded the highest number with 137 new cases compared to yesterday’s 59 numbers of cases which shows a rise today. FCT followed with 76 as Plateau State recorded 40 new cases.
