Nigeria Records 288 New Cases Of COVID-19 As Lagos, Kwara Tops List

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in their report on Monday night confirmed that Lagos State came out with the highest number of infected cases with 88, followed by Kwara state came out with 33 new cases while osun came third with 27. The cases in Lagos slightly increased against the 81 cases received yesterday.

The cases in the country are drastically reducing also with the cases in Lagos.

The Lagos state government have have announced Worship centers can now open a and This is coming after the state have been recording lower cases in the past few days.

The agency in its report said: “As at 11:31 pm, 3rd August, there are 44,129 confirmed cases in Nigeria. 

“44,129 confirmed cases have been confirmed while 20,663 have now been discharged. Nigeria has now recorded 896 deaths.”
