Nigeria Records 454 New Cases Of COVID-19

Nigeria today have recorded 454 new cases of the deadly COVID-19 which took the total infection case to 27,564, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) said on Friday.

Nigeria recorded a total of 790 cases, but decreased to 454 today . The death rate has also risen to 628.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in their report on Friday night confirmed that Lagos state came out with the highest number of infected cases with 87, followed by Edo with 63 new cases.

The agency in its report said: “As at 11:52 pm, 3rd July, there are 27,564 confirmed cases in Nigeria. 

“27,564 confirmed cases have been confirmed while 11,069 have now been discharged. Nigeria has now recorded 626 deaths.”
