Burna boy in an exclusive live interview with ChannelsTv speaks on the supposed beef fans think he has towards Davido.
It would be recalled that fans waged war on Burna boy over a snapchat post he made in reference to Davido. The post read:
“You cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team but your daddy bought the football team.”
Following the backlash received from the post, Burna noticeably stayed away from mud fights. He channeled his posts on his music and collaborations.
While speaking with the anchor on the live interview, Burna Boy speaks quickly on purported Davido Beef.
When asked if he and Davido are cool, Burna gave a broad smile and noted he wouldn’t like to make remarks on it because “people just run with whatever they see… me commenting on it now is going to give it some kind of ammunition…”
When enjoined by the anchor to at least say something so that people can know his stance, the African Giant later said he has learnt that saying things the way it is doesn’t usually enable people understand the truth. In his words, “It just gives people more armouries and more weapons to cook whatever they want…”
“…the truth does not set you free on social media…”, he said, accompanied with a polite smile.
