Differentiating both of these situations is hard and that’s why most people end up confusing both to be the same.
However, there is a lot which makes the two situations different from each other.
Here are some of the differences to note when it comes to dating and being in a relationship;
1. Dating can be playful and experimental; a relationship is a serious and sincere decision
While in dating, most people take this opportunity to learn and get enlightened on how things should be done. However, for a relationship, here people should already have knowledge of how things are done.
2. Dating means no serious attachment; a relationship is a true commitment
What ties partners together matters a lot. In dating, there is usually no serious ties, unlike in relationship, there is a serious tie between a couple.
3. Dating is ideal for younger lovers; a relationship is meant for fated soulmates
When it comes to dating, this is mostly favourable for young people as they don’t have serious future plans. However, for a relationship, this is ideal for older people, people who are ready to be serious about starting a family.
