NCDC Announces 307 New Cases, 188 Cases In Lagos

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 387 new cases in Nigeria, bringing the total number of cases to 10162.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) is Nigeria’s leading national public health institute. 

The NCDC is a Nigerian federal government agency under the Federal Ministry of Health and is headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria. The agency is currently headed by Chikwe Ihekweazu.

It has now been confirmed that the total number of deaths are now 287.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC in a tweet on Sunday night confirmed that Lagos accounts for 188 cases,

It said: “As at 11:26 pm, 31st May, there are 10162 confirmed cases in Nigeria. 

Meanwhile, 3007 patients have now been discharged from various treatment centres, while 287 patients have died of the disease.”

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) have now released a recent update on the deadly virus in the country.
